Tiny update on Gracey

Gracey has been doing great over this time. She has graduated from two classes that she took at Petsmart. She loves going to the dog park and another place where she plays in water.

My Dogue de Bordeaux

Gracey's Class

Today Gracey had puppy class. She is learning how to "stay", "come", and "grab it" and "drop it". We did a bit of practice in the pet store and she was doing great. We also got her a new body collar because with the normal everyday collar that she wears, she pulls people along on her walks. Now with her new body collar, she does not pull and is able to enjoy a nice loose leash walk without all that pulling she does.

Gracie the Dogue de Bordeaux

This is Gracie. She is a Dogue de Bordeaux. She is my parent's dog and I watch Gracie 3 to 4 times a week.

Her training is going good. She is learning to respond to her name. She is learning "sit" and lay "down" and is doing very well. She is rewarded with a treat each time.

She is not doing so well on the walking. She is still pulling. There is almost no point in making the noise that she is doing something wrong because she is not responding to it and could start to ignore it if we keep it up. She is rewarded if she does walk at a normal pace.
